A wettable powder, for the control of nematodes in the soil.
The reduction in nematode populations is achieved by the activity of Bacillus firmus spores supplemented with non-toxic additives.
BioNem WP is suitable for application by drenching or by drip irrigation. Optimal results are obtained by preplant application (2-5 days before planting).
BioNem WP should not be applied during a month after formaldehyde application and during a week after soil solarization. Applying BioNemWP during growth, from the fourth day after planting onwards, will cause a reduction in nematode populations in the soil.

When applying BioNem WP through irrigation system, precaution should be exercised as for fertigation. Non-return valves must be installed in the irrigation system before the introduction of BioNem WP, in order to prevent back- flow of water to the water source. Do not apply BioNem WP more than once a month. Do not apply BioNem WP within 4 days after planting.

b. Directions for use
BioNem WP suspension does not block drippers, but might accumulate on filters smaller than 60 mesh. Such filters should be removed before applying BioNem WP.

Application using a fertigation pump or sprayer:
Preparing the suspension: While mixing add at least 5 parts water to one part BioNem WP (at least 5 liter water per 1kg BioNem WP). Mix well, wait 5 minutes and mix again. Initiate the injection of the BioNem WP suspension, after starting drip irrigation. The application should last 10 to 30 minutes.

Application using a fertilizing tank:
Load the tank with BioNem WP. Start the application after starting drip irrigation. Adjust the tanks pressure drop to 0.5-1 atmosphere, in order to achieve proper dispersion.

Application by drenching:
Preparing the suspension: While mixing add at least 5 parts water to one part BioNem WP (at least 5 liter water per 1kg BioNem WP). Mix well, wait 5 minutes and mix again.
Calculating dose per plant: Divide the recommended rate of BioNem WP per Hectare by the number of drippers. For example: when applying 150 kg per Hectare in an area irrigated by 20,000 drippers, you should drench 7.5 grams of BioNem WP per dripper.
Agitate the suspension occasionally, and apply BioNem WP suspension directly to the soil next to the drip nozzles.
Avoid wetting the foliage with BioNem WP suspension. If foliage got sprayed with BioNem WP wash it with water .

c. Activation:
Immediately after application, irrigate the field at a rate of 100-200 m3/Ha. In order to deliver the material to where roots will develop.
Maintain soil moisture by a daily irrigation (according to soil type), until planting.
Do not mix BioNem WP with other materials during application.

| Cleaning of Equipment: |
When using any delivery equipment, wash it after use with water and detergent. Do not contaminate fields, fish ponds and water sources with the washing water. After application, the drip irrigationsystem should be sanitized with acid. Injecting acid in the same way that is practiced for scale removal, will eliminate baterial remains in the system.

| Personal safety measures: |
After using BioNem WP, exercise precaution as with other pesticides. Wash with soap and water any body parts which were exposed to the product. If in eyes: Flush with water. Launder working clothes separately.

No reentry limitations.

| Storage: |
The product should be stored in its original container in a dry shaded area designated for storage of pesticides, away from the reach of children and unauthorized persons. After partial use, close tightly to avoid exposure to humidity.

| Disposal of spilled pesticide: |
Sweep up the material and place in a waste disposal container.
|
| Disposal of empty packages: |
Wash the empty the package and puncture it up to prevent reuse. Place in a waste disposal container.
